A Kite Flyin’ Update

KitePg17-Crop

Just popping in to say hello and let you know I haven’t flown off into the stratosphere with my kite. In fact, it’s gotten a bit tangled in a tree and I have a couple of friends helping me untangle it. I realize I’m speaking in code here, and you probably haven’t a clue what I’m talking about. It’s ok…all will be revealed soon!!!  Well, at least I hope it’s soon!!

Meanwhile, I’ve been continuing to draw at the Gardens, to knit some small projects, and OH, yeah…for those of you who might’ve missed this: I made a little video giving you an over-the-shoulder view of me drawing a simple subject.  Click here if you’d like to see it!

So much going on in this Artful Life of mine. I’m grateful for it all, even if I do find myself quite weary from time to time. Sitting down to draw, even for a few minutes, helps me see the beauty of the life I have. I’d love to hear how YOUR artful life is these days. Perhaps you can sit down today to sketch and draw your life. It will help you see it in a new and fresh way!

More kite flying adventures coming soon!:)

Love your picture here! Enjoy your friends and your project. I enjoyed your video and can’t wait to see it painted!
I am knitting. I am working on my slow Afghan and Plotting a simple cardigan to use some yarn I bought for a different purpose but didn’t work out. I am also working on a lemon head lady in my journal for my lemon pages. It feels good to be doing. Thanks for asking. Can’t wait to see what you are up to as I am sure you are getting much more done than I am in spite of your full, full life!

I got tired of my gray hair and thought I’d go for a light shade of purple but this is what happened and I love it! I think I’ll keep it this way.

No health issue!! Yay! You are kind to inquire, Sandra. It’s a creative project (a big one) that is proving to be more involved than I thought. Slowly but surely.:)
