Thank you for this post. 7 weeks ago my mom passed away after a long illness, and last weekend my grandmother passed away (she was 105). There has been a creative drought in my soul, and I am just now beginning to draw again. It does have some healing qualities and provides me with some solace. Thank you for reminding me that I am not alone.

Oh Lynn, I am so sorry to hear this about your mom and grandma. I will be thinking of you. I understand the drought you mention. Grief has a way of drying up all our creative juices. I’m glad you are drawing again. You are not alone. My thoughts are with you.

I am still here. We had rain so I tried to make a rain page. Didn’t come out as I hoped so am working some more on it. I’m trying to keep these pointers in mind as I feel my way through my days although I have to admit I just didn’t even care about art on Sunday when I had a migraine! I didn’t even wonder what colors I could have described it then but I think I can now so…

Ugh. Migraines. I am so sorry to hear you have those awful headaches. My mom battled them for years. There are certainly times when the pain (quite literally here) of events renders us unable to do anything. But it would be interesting to see what you made of the colors of a migraine…but perhaps you’d rather not be reminded! Thank ou, as always for stopping in, Timaree. Your sweet smile is always a delight to see here.
