Love the weaves on the chair, and all the vibrant leaves. My nephews are learning to play piano as well, and my younger nephew is learning violin as well, I am so glad they get to do things I could only dream of doing when I was a child.
Thank you so much for your comments Jennifer. Gia’s absence has caused me much grief than I thought…my wife has moved on and excited about getting another pet, I on the other hand… still staring at her cage, and where I buried her.
Awesome, awsome, I love every detail you put down on your paper. The way you colour gives just enough information for the eye to appreciate both the black lines and the soft hues.
You certainly are taking advantage of “down time”. Ahhh, those moments to sit and draw. Enjoy seeing what each posting brings.
I love these sketches and the careful use of colour. Do you get to hear the tinkling of the piano too or is it early days for that?
Oh, I can hear the lesson for sure! This is Maddie’s third year of piano and she can play some beautiful pieces! So, I’m seranaded while I draw!

Beautiful drawings! Please keep drawing while having piano therapy…then you can pass that therapy on…

These are lovely – therapy for those of us who can’t get to sit in Mrs Randi’s outdoor room!
What a lovely place to wait! I’d love to have some piano therapy!! nancy
