The End of a Beloved Rocking Chair November 11, 2011 My husband gave me this rocking chair three years ago on my birthday. It has shown up in other posts, here and here. I miss sitting in my chair on the back deck. Here’s the sketch I made of it the day I received it: Share this:Click to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Like this:Like Loading...

Thank you Winna!
Awww…Sorry about your chair, but it made a great subject both new and in its demise. You will at least always have the drawings 🙂
aw 🙁 it is so hard to part with something that has so much sentimental value
I’m sorry about your chair. It’s hard to lose something that has special meaning for you. The drawing and your words are a fitting tribute, though. nancy
Lovely sketches Jennifer! There’s no better way to express ones gratitude for the gift received than to sketch the gift =) I could totally fall asleep in that chair
