More Piano Therapy

Though life has been on a crazy busy tilt for some time now, I'm finding I have more drawings than I can keep up with on this blog.  A wonderful problem to have.  So we will take a break from our Field Walk and have a little Piano Therapy today, which I describe here. On a Gray Day

On my walk, this drizzly, murky day, I peered into the gray...there really are colors there! What colors? Just grayed-down versions of blue, green, and purple? No, there are also hints of gold and red too! I saw in the hedgerow a shock of autumn colors...are they not lovely BECAUSE OF the gray surrounding them? … Continue reading On a Gray Day

But on some couch or dorm chair doing her homework...at college. <Snif> <Snif> I'm drinking it all in now... enjoying every minute I have with her … Continue reading Senior Moment

Piano Therapy

While the youngest has her piano lesson at Mrs. Randi's, I get to sit out in her outdoor room and draw, or knit, or just sit. Another  mom of a piano student called it "Piano Therapy" for the moms. I totally agree!

An Artist’s Footprint

It has long weighed on my mind that I, as an artist, have a pretty heavy footprint in this world.  What I mean by that, is all the STUFF I carry around with me (and will leave behind when I'm gone) on this planet which enables me to draw, paint, collage, knit, crochet and sew.  … Continue reading An Artist’s Footprint
