You can choose whatever yarns you’d like (a great stash-buster) to create small to “Texas” size cupcakes. They are so fun to give! Little ones love carrying them around by the candle, then holding them up to “foof” out the flame. Adults are just as delighted, though without the “foofing”.☺

The cupcake itself is all crocheted, with a knitted candle. (Every crocheter will benefit from knowing how to knit!!) But for those of you who want a crocheted option, I’ve got it here for you as well.

    Thanks a bunch!

Kim Guzman showed your placemat and it is lovely – I’m going to try lengthening it to make a table runner for my sister. And I saw many other patterns I can’t wait to try. Thank you so much for sharing them.

    • Jennifer Edwards says:

Hi Patricia! Thank you so much for stopping in to say hi and I so appreciate your “thank you”! I hope you enjoy making the placemat/runner you have in mind! Enjoy! Have a lovely day! -Jennifer

Hi. I’m currently making the Easy Peasy Lace Scarf as a scarf and am enjoying the simplicity of the pattern. I also appreciate your giving a stitch count for those who want to make it as a shawl.

Can you tell me what the stitch count is a multiple of if I want to make it a bit wider, but still as a scarf?

    Thanks!

    • Jennifer Edwards says:

Deb, I apologize for the huge delay in responding to your question…it is a repeat of 10 for the Easy Peasy Lace Scarf. Maintain the K2 at the beginning and the K1 at the end, and then cast on however many repeats of 10 you want In between. Enjoy!

  5. Malina Larson says:

I found your simple crochet hand warmers on Ravelry. On your pattern it says one skein of yarn, on Ravelry it says 120-180 yds. One skein of Plymouth Gina is 109 yds. Is one skein enough to do a set of warmers for a small size, or should I buy two skeins. Thanks.

    • Jennifer Edwards says:

Hi Malina! To be on the safe side, buy 2 balls of Gina yarn. I have made the warmers with just one ball…but barely. And when I went to make a second pair, I had to have another ball of yarn to complete them. I think sometimes the yardage is a bit more than what the wrapper says. My students who have crocheted them also need a second ball.
